Why downsizing is harder than it sounds

Selling the family home isn’t just a property transaction - it’s the end of a chapter. We’ve worked with hundreds of South Wales sellers downsizing in their 60s, 70s and 80s, and the same friction points come up:

• Parent has lost capacity - we work with the deputyship arrangements.
• Probate sale where parent has passed - this is often a Sell an inherited house situation, slightly different process.
