We're Jason Mumford and David Bartlett. We've been buying houses for 30+ years and we built House Buyers Wales because we'd both been on the other side of a difficult house sale - and we knew there had to be a better way than the estate agent's drawn-out, fall-through-prone process.

Why we work the way we work

We pay everything (both solicitors, the clearance, the Land Registry fees). You can back out at any point before completion - no deposits, no time charges.

Why we wouldn't recommend us to everyone

We're cash buyers. We pay below open-market value because we have to cover the cost of buying, holding, and re-selling - and to make a fair living.

If you've got time and the house is in good shape, an estate agent will get you a higher final number. What we offer instead: speed, certainty, privacy, no fees, and a single price that doesn't move at the last minute.
